The University of Surrey Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship is now open for applications. This Scholarship is peculiar to international students who wish to enrol on a Masters’s degree program at the University.
This prestigious award recognises academic excellence and is awarded to selected students starting a Masters’s degree at the University of Surrey in September 2022 and February 2023. This scholarship is open to self-funded international fee-paying students regardless of nationality or domicile.

The scholarship is either a £5,000 or £10,000 fee waiver. The scheme is application based, and a scholarship awards panel decides awards. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the University of Surrey Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants must be self-funded international fee-paying students regardless of nationality or domicile.
- Applicants must be ready for a full-time program
- You must have an offer from the University to complete the scholarship application form.
- Applicants who wish to enrol on master degree program
- Applicants must have evidence of English Language proficiency

- Chemical and process engineering
- Civil and environmental engineering
- Criminology
- Economics
- Electrical and electronic engineering
- Environment and sustainability
- Food, nutrition and dietetics
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Politics and international relations
- Psychology
- Sociology.

How-to-Apply: This scholarship is application-based. Surrey offer-holders may apply via the online form.
- Applications open 1 December 2021 (1 July for February 2023)
- Applications are reviewed monthly starting in January
- You must have an offer from the University to complete the scholarship application form.
