We are seeking a reliable and efficient cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facility. In addition, the cleaner will be responsible for ensuring that all facility areas are clean and well-maintained, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.

- Salary: 13.60 to 16.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 45 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Cleaning surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Restocking supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and other high-touch areas
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Following proper cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised supply closet and janitorial cart
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of proper cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Tasks
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Clean and disinfect elevators
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
