Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and pouring concrete surfaces, using a variety of tools and equipment
2. Smoothing, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces, using hand tools and power tools
3. Applying concrete coatings and sealants to protect and enhance concrete surfaces
4. Repairing and resurfacing damaged concrete surfaces
5. Following safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment
6. Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
7. Communicating with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
8. Ensuring that work meets established quality standards

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete finishing and repair
2. Knowledge of concrete pouring and finishing techniques
3. Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in concrete finishing
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Tasks

• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
• Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
