We are seeking an experienced and reliable food service supervisor to oversee our food service operations. The food service supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of food service workers, ensuring that food is prepared and served in accordance with established quality standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate


1 year to less than 2 years


  1. Supervising and directing food service workers, including cooks, servers, and dishwashers
  2. Planning and coordinating daily menus and food preparation schedules
  3. Ensuring that food is prepared and served in accordance with established quality standards
  4. Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
  5. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, including kitchen and dining areas
  6. Enforcing food safety and sanitation regulations and protocols
  7. Training new employees on food service procedures and standards
  8. Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  9. Ensuring that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures


  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service operations, with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills
  3. Knowledge of food preparation and service techniques, as well as food safety and sanitation regulations
  4. Strong communication and customer service skills
  5. Good organizational and time management skills
  6. Physical ability to perform food service tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds


  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
  • Ensure food service and quality control
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
